A bit wavey

A bit wavey, originally uploaded by nathanleefloats.

After removing myself from the pub with a two pint stagger that all too easily occurs in people weighing in at a hefty 9.5 stone, i took a boredom quenching walk along the beach. It made me glad i was out there today.

The barometer has dropped 5 millibars in the last 6 hours, so it’s looking poor. Oh eck, it’s even worse up this end of the beach.

Hi Nathan. Have you made it to Peterhead or are you still in Arbroath?

I weigh in at an even more hefty 11 stone but can still do a two-pint stagger. Still, it means I can have a cheap night out, as opposed to someone I know who has been known to down 16 pints of Guinness on a Saturday night and still be able to walk. I wouldn’t be alive after 10, never mind 16!!!

Bloody hell those waves look like fun.
I wish I could get me and my board to the coast – I’ve not had a proper play in the surf for far too long!

I hope the conditions improve for you soon.

    Fair winds and all that.

    Hi Nathan,

Good to meet you in Stonehaven yesterday and hope you made it back to the boat alright with the four pint stagger.
Enjoy the rest of your trip and let me know if I can help in any way.

    Cheers

    Charlie

  5. Hey!

Currently in Stonehaven. I have to wait here for somebody to meet me. Bit of a long story, but I’m sure I’ll write about it soon enough. How was your trip south? I was quite lazy and didn’t set off until late. oops.

    All the best,

    Nathan

Our trip south was good thanks – much better than your trip north by all accounts! Got stuck in Amble for another couple of days then sailed to Newcastle in company with Hans and his Vancouver. That was a bit lively but nothing compared to your adventures! Enjoy the Caledonian – very beautiful trip as long as it doesn’t rain.

    Take care
    Elaine
